This Iron Maiden band t-shirt is made from soft cotton, a great fabric that is lightweight and breathable, perfect for attending festivals in the summer or when you’re packed into crowded concerts. The bold, electric yellow of the print stands out against the black fabric of the shirt, perfectly suiting this intense moment as lightning strikes. This band tee has short sleeves and a rounded crew neckline for a relaxed and comfortable fit. Show off your love for heavy metal with this iconic album cover t-shirt.
This artwork is from the Live After Death album, which was originally released in 1985, containing live performances from their 1984 World Slavery Tour. The album was extremely well-received by fans and critics, and is widely regarded as not only the band’s best live album, but the best live album of the genre.
The yellow on this top reflects the blue and yellow primary colours used in the original cover. The headstone behind Eddie’s figure, breaking free from the ground, matches the original art, with a misquote of Lovecraft and Edward T visible (presumably followed by Head) above R.I.P. The Eddie of this cover is burning with anger, flames licking off his body and grave, electricity surging from his metal cuffs that followed the mascot from the Powerslave album cover, and lightning striking dramatically at his forehead. The cover art was done by Derek Riggs, the same artist who did the work for the powerslave cover, who put his name on a gravestone on the back cover.
