This boot still has all the hallmarks of Dr Martens’DNA, but is made monochrome. Although these boots still use the Goodyear Welting technique, having been heat-sealed and reinforced with welt stitching, the inconically bright yellow thread has been replaced with a matte black that warms our gothic hearts. The air-cushioned soles are one-colour, rather than the usual gradient we see in 1460 boots,and the branded shoe-pull tab is completely black, including the Air Waves script.
